fwiw, Calhoun is a prick. I ran into him on many occassions at some coaching clinics in the mid 90's.

He also came after a couple of the kids on our U17 team and was shady then.

He is exactly what you say, a prick. He's also one to hang kids out to dry as well, in several ways, with recent history pointing some of that out.

From living up there I know this first hand his players dont like him, but he gets players because he puts em in the league. It is very rare you hear about a guy coming back to Uconn to hang out or do clinics or anything, he's not a players coach to say the least.

I'm talking about wash for @ 6 minutes. That wouldn't be worse than Cam playing point like last game.
The only reason Hall and Cam are getting more pt is because they are upperclassmen and CM can't come into a new program and bench all the upperclassmen. Hall isn't better than anyone. He works hard, stays late, is a Jr and was rewarded for it.

I would be fine with wash getting the back up PG minutes thats ok with me can't do too much damage in 6 minutes. Ccm is having no problem benching Woolridge now, he saw 9 minutes last game and was seeing no time early in the year. I don't see CCM as being a guy to play people based in seniority. Richardson starting over McRae and mcbee is a perfect example, you get PT by how you practice. Do you honestly in your mind think yemi or miller is better than hall? Honestly now? I get hall doesn't hustle but he still brings more than those 2 combined.

We win if Maymon gets going early. (Which I think he will.)

I thought that was the biggest problem in the Georgia game. Maymon got in early foul trouble and we were never able to get in rhythm and solidify a lead.

65-57 Vols

I don't care if Hall, Yemi and Miller score a point in this game.
If they can keep Stokes' legs fresh and keep Drummond about 12 feet from the glass or at the foul line they'll be earning their time.

Do the old Chaney treatment send in some guys to rough up Drummond.

I would really be looking forward to this game more if I heard that Cam and Hall had been suspended. It would be a W if they were.

Hang on man, I'll let the Coach know what is needed, sure he will make the necessary changes. :)

I don't think CM is a coach that will play based on seniority once he gets his team, players and is acclimated. He just can't come in at a tough time for UT, and immediately bench the upperclassmen. That's why he is slowly weeding some out.

And I honestly do think Hall is a detriment. He has moments, but so does everyone. I'm sure he is a good kid and I know he supposedly tries, but it's about basketball knowledge, instincts, effort and focus for me. That's how I was coached, and how coaches I was on staff with coached. I'll take Yemi being strong and going after the ball all day compared to the passivity of Hall's game. Never seen a 6'9 kid make himself look 6'4 on the court to this extent, and I've never seen a player make so many negative/lazy plays in every game he plays in.
If he does one simple thing: not bring the freaking ball down to his ankles everytime he gets it--I will give him a little break, but not until then.

Good deal. Go ahead and tell him to stop putting Stokes up top setting a pick and get him on the block please.
That is unless he prefers him to shoot 15 ft jumpers vs going up for a dunk or layup.

UConn's not the same team they were a year ago by any means. Big opportunity for the Vols, I'm just hoping they can take advantage of it.
