The Official Tennessee vs. #17 Auburn Game Thread, 12:00 PM ET, ESPN2

I was thinking about how he got in trouble and really the only people that paid any price are vol fans.
We lost a good coach and he was able to move on to another team and start rolling again.

It cost him probably 12-15 million dollars. It cost him pretty hugely. It's not wonder he takes extra emphasis on beating Tennessee.

Who’s fault was it though?

Sure as hell ain’t our fault.

For whatever reason, Barnes's style of play just doesn't work against Pearl. Pearl beat him twice at Texas when Barnes had better teams, and still has his # now.

My gawd. Can't even inbound a play. That was the dagger. .Then an airball 3 attempt. Will we EVER beat Bruce Pearl?
The 3 highly rated freshmen coming in better be very special, or the answer is no, not any time soon.

If Bruce's past is any indication, his success at Auburn will be followed by another swift kick in the rear end from the NCAA

Nice job Barnes letting the one guy killing you from 3 CONTINUOUSLY have open looks from 3.

As a coach you can’t let one guy beat you. Bad game for Barnes.

Bruce Pearl is a great coach, but his career will always be tainted by his repeated instances of cheating, lying, having his assistants lie and take the fall as well as his personal indiscretions.
Whatever you have to tell yourself. Fact is he owns Barnes and is coming off a final four. I’m sure all the AU fans can’t appreciate that FF because Pearl had a BBQ
