The Official Tennessee vs. #3 Florida Game Thread, 7:00pm ET, ESPN

Not a bad loss, no reason to panic. Honestly, the Wichita St. game is more concerning. They need to have a solid 2nd half. Losing to FL is no big deal.

While I would normally agree with that assessment the situation we were in losing to Florida probably by most estimations kept us out of the tournament unless of course we can win the tournament at the end of the year. For examples see last year's team...., this loss really really took a hard-hit against our chances ...,sorry to say that

Not upset we lost to #3 ranked team but it is how we lost. We just pissed it down our leg too many times tonight.

"The pissing down our legs" was done completely by our players in this game, with lack of execution. It had nothing to do with Cuonzo's ability/inability to coach. I can see people getting mad at Zo about TAMU, but honestly Vandy and UF were all on the players.
Our fanbase is just looking for things to get mad at, at this point

Clearly I was wrong vols don't score sixty, and didn't beat the gators by six.

Damn bitter loss of close but cigar.
If the wildcats beat the gators would a win over them be a great win to help their resume?

The BRING BRUCE BACK chant needs to be started next home game..tired of mediocrity..the lack of urgency in this team is on the coaching staff..Bruce could ALWAYS get his team motivated..STEVEN PEARL> MAYMON

It is not Cuonzo's fault that we lost tonight, but it is his fault that we are as pathetically thin on offensive talent as we are.

McRae and Stokes are quality players, but no one else can get their own shot. Josh off a screen has quality mid range play and can hit the open three, but who else is there? Good teams can double Stokes and press Jordy away from the basket to shake us offensively.

This is not a tournament team. Florida is a really, really good team, but we lack the overall offensive weapons to be consistently dangerous.

Thats not the fault of Cuonzo's in game coaching, that is the fault of his recruiting and lack of player development.

Again, coaching has been a problem at times but not tonight. You want Ndyai in the game? We had plenty of chances. Maymon with 8 turnovers, a missed layup and Richardson a missed dunk. Just easy to blame coaching.

Why keep running plays to him when he can't catch or make a layup if he does manage to catch it? Turner got his fourth foul and we never challenged him again. Any coach worth $1 would have went at him until he fouled out. We had the chance on two straight posessions and nothing. He could have called time out but noooo. He likes to save those for after we make a big basket to curtail emotion.

When's it not a coaches job to take him out? Wouldn't surprise me if Cuonzo is so inept that he doesn't even notice. That's beyond his realm of "expertise".

For those who say "it's the #3 team in the country, relax." The reason they're #3 is because of the man on the sidelines. Scottie Wilbiken was a no-star walk on for crying out loud. Prather was a kid 4 hours down the road that Pearl didn't even offer. There has to come a time when piss poor play ultimately falls on the coaching staff.

Who do you put in? What's your recommendation genius?
