The Official Tennessee vs. #6 Alabama Game Thread, 1:00 PM ET, ESPN

He did his job...that’s all there is to it. Keon was guarding someone else...probably Petty. It was smart to get Vescovi off Jones...although Jones had the 5 step layup down.
Of course vescovi couldn’t guard Jones, but I still don’t like inserting Gaines in that situation... ice cold... off the bench. Santi was getting abused on d all day, and you finally move him off Jones for the final possession?

absolutely on the edge of my seat waiting to find out if duke makes it into the tourney. a duke team that literally no one, not even duke fans, care about.

No different than any other game I've watched this year. We got the calls when we were the agressor and they got them when they were the agressor. It's that simple.
Um, if anything, the team that was the aggressor didnt get the calls, considering the amount of times they called a charge that should've been a block. I think youre just saying things

I've always been hard and down on Gaines, but very difficult for me to not feel for him. I honestly wish the production crew didn't hone in on him.

You dont think Gaines defense had anything to do with that? You know nothing about basketball
He had good positioning im just saying Jones forced it into helpside defense more than anything. Personal attacks are a sure fire sign your not willing or able to have a rational debate chief. It’s doesn’t suit you buddy

Ah. Sometimes the better team just wins. Stellar job defending Johnson 2nd half. got beat by a good team. No complaint here. Effort was there with lots of freshmen mistakes. Officiating was bad on both ends. Typical SEC.

They have been calling charges on everything all season long. That didn't start in this game.

Kid had barely played all year and is an offensive liability. You don't put him in there if James is available.

I’m sorry that we are arguing about something that worked. Pretty sad actually. It was just a tough break that they called a foul.

Y’all just argue about everything when the end result was what we wanted.

Another under performing team. Nothing new here. Happens every year.

And one final game in the NCAA and the season will be over.

Tennessee is pathetic in athletics. Worst I have ever seen in my years.

This feels like 2019 except TN lost. I think we just watched the real championship. I expect Bama to dog walk whoever they play tomorrow
