No way to justify this pussification play calling and the non tackling Tennessee Vagineers defense...pure slop being played on the ridge, no two ways about it...Jones needs to do some in house cleaning, get some ballsy, sec caliber coaches to help him build this brick house...and I aint buyimg this UT dont have the talent excuse anymore...Talent is here, they just are not being coached up...watching this defense week after week makes this obvious to see

Has Butch and this team completely ruined the confidence from the fans they gained from takin down SC after these last three beatdowns?

Guys, I know this sucks BAD. But let's look at it with a bit of optimism-

Coming into this year, I was hoping for 3 things:

- signature win.... Check
- great recruiting class.... Check so far with top 10 likely
- and the big one- a bowl game.... Still possible here in November

I know this does make us feel warm and fuzzy when we screw the pooch as we are today, but we are still on track for a good season considering our depth, talent and schedule!

Fist up defense is one of the most asinine slogan's I have ever heard. Quit with the slogans and coach some football.

No way he keeps this recruiting class together with this going on. Kids want to play yes but they want to win also. We are not improving. sad sad day

It has certainly tempered expectations and outlook.

I was hoping to see improvement every game. I still expected 6-6 even after the USC game but that looks like a bright and cheerful outlook at this point.

This team is soft.

This game reminds me of the Stanford Oregon game the other night. Stanford lined it up and ran the ball. Oregon knew it was coming and couldn't stop it. The same thing is happening today.

We have to fix the defense--better players and maybe better coaches, too. We certainly need some better players.
