As they say...a team takes on the persona of the head man, Corbin wishes the SEC tournament didn’t exist. Are the sandbagging, up for debate, will we see a different attitude next week, I’d say so. Same with MSU.

I would think that CTV and CFA would go with a mid-week rotation, throwing young arms . . . saving the big boys for the Regionals. Just my guess, but CTV has surprised us before with great results . . .

No weekend guy is pitching the rest of this week whether we had regionals or not Friday. You can’t throw Heflin on 3 days rest and clearly Dallas and Blade aren’t going.

Most fanbases have said the same about us all year with the HR admirations, bat flips, chirpiness on the field etc. And I love it. If you watch The Season (inside look at Ole Miss baseball) they look like a team that has a blast and genuinely loves each other (sure that can be said about a lot of teams) but they seem to just have a great time playing a game; like they’re still in little league. If you had said Vandy there would be no debate.

Okay, I need to keep away during the games. We kick tail when I'm not on the board. On top of that, it was the gumps and we destroyed them....AND candy goes down. Damn...what a great day and I missed it all.

Not trying to challenge, but why not throw Heflin on 3 day rest if we make it to Sunday? He's got a week to recover, (CV has said he'll throw the third game next weekend.) If we win Saturday with a committee of bullpen arms, what kind of quality arm(s) will we have left from the pen to go on Sunday? i guess Arky or Ole Miss will have the same problem? Ole Miss even more as they played on Tuesday.

Two days back to back with bullpen guys or one group for Saturday and one group for Sunday. Remember most of those young guys threw 100 pitches a week in HS.

I’m not worried about him recovering before next week, just not sure it’s fair to throw a kid that much in a short time, granted his pitch count was fairly low Wednesday. But he went on the shortest rest for the first game of the tournament already. That would be 3 starts in 10 days going back to the Scar series.
