Seems like something Pruitt would do. Stick Maurer out there, have Chaney call a couple of handoffs, call a pass finally on third and long after a penalty, just so he can say "see, we put him in".

Actually making sure we don’t lose momentum and had the ball in a short field. Let your veteran manage that risk and get the backups in later. But good try!
