The Official Tennessee vs Clemson Regional Game Thread (Sat. 6/3 6PM EST ESPN2)

Where do you recommend to eat before/after the game? Any tips for best SRO location to view the game?

PS I will trade you 4 seats for any Vols weekend series game next season for one chairback seat to Sat’s game. 🍊👍😀👊😃🍊.

I’ll be there. As far as places to eat…. Letha’s, Keg & Barrell, Murky Waters, Sullys, Glory Bond Gyro Co.

An hour south the MS Gulf Coast has fantastic food and nice casinos on the Gulf. If you you willing to drive that hour for games, staying at say The Beau Rivage Casino would make for a nice trip

Not at all superior—-I just don’t quit on my team and did spend a couple of hours perusing through the posts to call out those that did. Go Vols!
I don't believe thinking that game was over is quitting on the team. The thought went through my head a few times, as I'm sure it did for most people. Not to mention, the people who do say they're giving up and turning it off, are always back posting ten minutes later. lol.

Speaking of the game, I was just watching some of it while I was cutting out the commercials to post to YouTube. A lot of it was a blur to me in real time. Were we down to our final strike with three different batters in the 9th inning? I didn't go back to double check, but I think Moore, Burke and Denton were all down to their final strike.

Also, I love watching Vitello with the team at the end. Everyone was calm and listening intently, then everybody just started going crazy right as the camera cut away.

Check out this last 30 seconds of the broadcast.

I never QUIT on my team. I’m not playing and my opinion matters NONE. Even being down 5 runs in the 9th inning (hypothetically), I always try to find a path to victory. Sometimes others see it differently. Props to you for always thinking we will always win.

The team is fighters for sure! The game sometimes just looks like a mountain we can’t climb. Indiana in football a few years ago comes to mind

It’s nothing personal—I’m sure you are a great fan. I get it that you were frustrated. I too get frustrated when folks claim “the game is over” after 4 or 5 innings. Have a great night and Go Vols!

Game isn’t over until the fat lady sings or after 9 innings, or 14 innings, or 10 run rule, …or until Volnation says so. 😀Vitello going head first through the player tunnel cracks me up. He kind of flopped through it last year. I thought he hurt himself! 🍊😀👍👍😃🍊

I’d probably run through a brick wall for that guy after listening to one of his speeches.

That made an impression on me too. It was so intense.

Wow, they blocked my game video? lol.
It's horrible. They blocked some in football, too, remember?

I was planning (for after the CWS) a Saturday double hitter: the Orange Bowl followed by the Regional win over Clempson. ☹️
