I’m honestly asking because I know it can be hard to tell over text. But can someone explain to me why we didn’t pinch hit for Stark? Am I really that crazy these days? He’s been terrible at the plate and you only have 6 outs to go. We don’t trust Tears, Dreiling, etc. at the plate at all???

Because Stark would have to come out of the game and our other catchers aren't as good at keeping runners from advancing. So VT doesn't want to lose that defense against a team that can play small ball with the best of them. (I just woke up from too long of a nap, but I think that answers your question accurately)
