I agree. However, the criticism toward Martin currently is this team is more talented than its record and shouldn't have been a bubble team.

I'm sorry, at what point did Thad Matta develop a relationship with Aaron Craft's best friend in an attempt to dig up dirt on a 17 year old? Also, if Craft's dad had taken Pearl's advice and lied to the NCAA, it very likely would have cost Craft his freshman year of eligibility as well.

Matte and Craft could have kept their traps shut. 90% of the time! this is what happens. Instead they were tattle tells. I guess what goes around comes around as far as Pearl is concerned. In both cases, Pearl rattled and so did Matta

Again, if Craft "kept his trap shut" and the NCAA, who again, have no love for Bruce Pearl because of his previous actions, found out, Craft would have lost part of, if not all of, his freshman year. Why do you feel like 17 year old Craft should be lying to cover the tracks of a grown man?

Gotta let the fan base vent after a loss. Especially after another victory was snatched away in the second half. I really think many people in the fan base have lost some much confidence that Cuonzo will ever succeed here that they're OK with losing if it gets a JumpStart on fixing the program. Many think him winning just delays the inevitable.

I've already said CCM coached some bad games this year, but what's past is past. Let's deal in the now, Barring a complete shock, we're in the tournament. That's the here and now, so let's be happy about it.

Interesting point. I would never cheer against my team, even though I wasn't mad when Dooley sealed his fate losing. However, I am not confident that our BB program can be a top tier program like we had under Pearl as long as Cuonzo is coach. I never see any in-game or late game adjustments that show me he can win close games. Unfortunately, we will continue to be in close games with 3 star recruiting. Coaching will determine whether we win or lose.

Oh I'm happy about it. But sneaking into the tournament doesn't really change my opinion of Martin.

So frustrating. All that work to lose like that.

And, why is Moore shooting a 3 with the game on the line? The fifth option should not be taking that shot unless the shot clock is winding down.
And, it was ridiculous to not foul and let them run it down to 20. And then, lol, take another 5 secs to foul.

Tough loss but proud of our guys! The Gators can be beaten but still may make the final 4. There are at least 4-5 teams that could beat them given the Gators have an off night. They are due. Hold them under 55 and you might have a shot.

sometimes we see things we want to see as fans, come on man i wanted them to win as bad as you. i did not see it and i also going on with the way barton sold it and come on he was even smiling about the call and almost laugh just watch the replay of the game, you will see what i am talking about. we did not get some calls and we lost more calls than we won, but a few did go our way. the refs did make it hard on us, but i hate that maymon being a leader with experience lose his cool in the moment. he knew he made a mistake, on the bench he even on up to it saying it was his fault.

it is a lost, we will be better from it i hope, we will get in and make some noise i think.

FTR, the gator player admitted to contact after the game. Barton probably hammed it up, but there was contact.

Those that ignore the past are doomed to repeat it in the future...

I am happy about making the Dance, if we do, but barely getting in on the bubble with this team is not an accomplishment. We should not have had to worry at all about making tourney

So who do you want to replace CCM with? Obviously not Pearl based off the bolded. Or are you willing to forget his NCAA violations if it fits your agenda?

I'm fine with Pearl. I don't see his mistake as devastating as some do. I find the actual mistake pretty harmless.

But with that said, I'm still giving CCM a chance with the tourney.
