I was just commenting to the post that was surprised that Arkansas had most titles in all sports. It’s because their track and field has been dominant. They have done nothing in virtually every other sport in the last 25 years. Dave Van Horn has never won an SECT title in baseball.

We’ve had women’s basketball titles in 2007 and 2008. We just won SEC men’s tennis title, and we’ve won a couple in softball the last 15 years. Arkansas won SEC golf in 2019, which I think was their first ever and haven’t done much in other sports.

Another question. Why does TV put three pieces of tape (I assume that’s what it is) on the dugout railing. Anyone know what I’m talking about?

I was mainly referring to National championships which they have like 43 or so and we have 23. It just kinda blew my mind. Thanks for the reply.

Sorry, I couldn’t remember that you posted that. Yea, many of those are track and field. I counted roughly 32 national titles in cross country and track and field since joining the SEC. One all time in basketball and a disputed one in football. No others.

They've already gotten a ton of mileage out of that footage of TV and DVH getting after each other. I hope that recruit sees it every time and decides, "I wish I was a Vol"
