Miss St. lost to the LBC State.

I’d normally pull for Mississippi State as an SEC team, but not this weekend. We regularly have Dirtbags play for us in the summer. Because of their covid restrictions (I’m not getting into politics here ), last season Long Beach played for a long time in front of zero fans, then later in the season they let in one family member per player, then after that two family members per player. I don’t think they allowed full capacity at any point. I felt sorry for them.

When I saw they were playing at Mississippi State to open the season, I thought they’d get overwhelmed at the Dude. It was the first game after Mississippi State won the CWS and they sold over 13K season tickets. Figured LBSU would be shell shocked.

I’ve text with a couple LBSU guys. They know it’s only one game, but they’re really happy and are praising their teammates.
