I really want to get behind JG but there’s another example of him not understanding the game. He could have picked up three or four more yards before he slid down. We end up punting because of that decision by him

Yep he sure did... had a first down easy and still time to slide and not get hit. I’m not on 1 side or the other when it comes to him but that kind of play does not really endear me to the guy.

Offense is miserably conservative. There's a reason why we were last in total offense last season in the SEC. If you never try to open things up offensively you become predictable and easy to stop. Hope Chaney isn't gonna be like this all season.
