The Official Tennessee vs. Indiana Tax Slayer Gator Bowl Game Thread, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN

Watching a rebroadcast of this game on sec network. The first 2.5 quarters are sickening. I had blocked out how bad we played. Specifically JG’s performance. On a better note, I had also forgotten how much Gray showed out.

Possibly because they knew we were lucky to win.
We played well enough to lose.
On sides kicks do not work most of the time.

Why’s that?
They were classless. It started before we ever got in the stadium. I've never seen a group of adults look down their nose the way those did.
What were they doing?
Worst fans I ever encountered were Florida Gator fans in Gainesville.
They were, to put it in the simplest terms, rude in every way possible. A 20 something female kept telling a young teenage boy sitting in front of us to suck her d***. Badmouthing players and fans, and acting like complete asses.
The biggest one was that they were cheering and celebrating when one of our players were on the ground hurt
My blood was boiling!!! It's a wonder I didn't get in a fight.

No, but living in Florida might.

I grew up in East TN. Went to UT. Lived in Charlotte, Raleigh, Charleston, SC, Outer Banks, and moved to FL in 2004. I never knew my car had a horn until I moved to FL. Now I need a new horn every couple of years....This place does that to a person!

That was so fun! Loved seeing the jerk Hoosier fans leaving the stadium. They were awful fans.

I had a good fan experience at the game. I got to the tailgate later than I wanted to but that was because of a buddy of mine not traffic. Had some beers, venison burgers, lobster tail and snacks. Maybe my spread was too redneck for Indiana fans?

I didn't have a problem with their fans but didn't sit near many. Ran into lots of Tennessee fans which were having a good time. Gave out some beers and food at the tailgate to people, mostly Tennessee fans. One of which offered us money, which was appreciated but that's not what it was about.

I sat near a few Hoosier fans, one little kid but they didn't do anything crazy other than cheer their team. I did help one Hoosier fan with a dead battery after the game. They were nice and also offered money that I would not take.

I did have to put my hands on a fluffy Tennessee fan that couldn't contain his alcohol or emotions. I didn't want to but he gave an unprovoked attacked on a friend of mine in Tennnesse gear. Luckily, he chilled and no bodily damage occured. Security was pretty lackadaisical but they eventually did escort him out. I would have been okay with him staying if he kept his hands to himself.

I stopped by the great american coonhound festival on the way home. Good times. I know cool story.

So you conformed.
That's too bad man.

I'm not letting any place change my behavior, for better or worse.

Last time I was in Washington D.C. I had to pull the barricade routine. Meaning that iblocked traffic so another lane could advance. They're the most selfish drivers I've ever seen on the planet Earth. Manila a close 2nd

You should leave earlier, so you have plenty of time to follow grandpa. Next time just get out of your car, walk up to their window and gently wake them up for the next green light or to let them know they are at a stop sign and that it’s not going to turn green.

Although, every time I go back to ET I have to remind myself that I'm not in FL any more. I love the unwritten rule (at least in Lenoir City on HWY 321) that you must leave 200 yards between each car once the light turns green.

I asked someone I was riding with once, "Is there a particular shade of green you're waiting on!?"

Gator fans are the absolute worst. Very rude and arrogant. I watch every gator game I can so I can pull against them. I want to break their arms every time I see the gator chomp.

I would’ve if I had been there and she said it to my kid.
