I almost feel bad for saying this, but; I can picture him "arm chair coaching" and cussing the screen when the correct number of players take the field, timeouts are called at the appropriate times, we don't pooch kick/hail-mary on 4th and inches on our 35. etc....

Some retread or Dooley-esque "up and comer."

Barnhart would only offer Petrino under extreme duress from his superiors, AND if Tennessee or Auburn don't want him.

I have no faith in the UK AD to make any kind of decent hire.

AD Mitch Barnhart on UK's pregame show says that he is not looking for a "quick fix" in reference to the new coach, and that "character matters" in the coaching search.
