Basketball seems to be the most subjective with it's calls. Other sports have a more definite penalties.

The game is too fast to be called 100% accurately. The good refs call what they see. The bad refs guess a lot.

every fan of every school thinks the refs are screwing them, every game, every year.

even duke fans think the refs are out to get them.

I didn't say that.

Even without the Bruce Pearl crap, the team would have been weaker than last year and years before.

The whole situation with Pearl has been blown way, way out of proportion anyway, especially when you've got guys like Cal running rampant in the league.

No one said we would be weaker. That was a given. Lack of coaching and progress is what people are complaining the most about. You can't honestly say that we have gotten better throughout the year. That's coaching.
