The Official Tennessee vs LSU Super Regional Thread (SATURDAY 7PM) (SUNDAY 12 or 3PM) (Monday 4 or 7PM if Necessary)

I wouldn’t have participated either but honestly he isn’t owed anything by our fan base. LSU fans have too much a “kiss the pinky” mentality regarding him and their program as a whole.
True. He’s not owed anything in our park…..but proper recognition would have been appropriate… and it was certainly earned.

And again, I wouldn't expect the same thing from other fans for our great coaches. Especially if they acted like asshats in the media in very recent memory.

Sorry, but he sewed that himself.

Literally every major city in TX is liberal.
Most cities period, are liberal. Texas as a whole is not liberal. The major surrounding area of Houston (50 mile radius) is not liberal. To many oil and gas, refinery, chemical plant people.
Austin is full of freaks and hippies.

Agreed. He was downright insulting in that interview. He easily could have talked about it being a hostile or tough environment but he chose to insult the fan base instead.

He followed a legend, became a legend, that’s a thing.
No freaking doubt. Coached in the shadows of Skip. Coached in an ever increasing competitive league. Won.

He took one of the hardest tests in college baseball and aced it. I’ll raise a glass to him tonight.

Dang, this Zona and Ole Miss series is non stop offensive fireworks. Both teams can swing the sticks. Zona taking it to them right now

Ya don’t know what ya don’t know.

Cheers.

Exactly. He shared a stupid sour opinion, came back to Knoxville, got rocked, cheesed it up in the ninth with inside pitch calls and a silly pitching change, cried on the field and got booed.

I don't feel bad in the slightest. We may have a lot of buttholes in our fanbase but it's not up to opposing old coaches to insult them.
