They’re not losing a hosting spot.
They lost two games by a combined 25-3 score. It’s not an accident
I’m confused on how this newer style bracket works...I know we play at 4:00...but we play the winner of who?I’d like to see this Mississippi team tomorrow. 1, I think it would be a good matchup and 2, I want us to see as many good teams as possible, heading into regionals.
GBO!!
They threw their 3 best guys from starter to closer in order and got rocked; it was an accident. One of my vendors who’s a State alum and follows them religiously was traveling amongst our locations today and was unable to watch. We talked after the game and when I told him we scored every run and they were earned on MacLeod, Bednar and Simms he was in disbelief. Nobody at State saw this coming with the arms they trotted out today. They’re not losing a hosting spot.

Don't LOOK!Chasing @feathersax who was chasing after @OrngeJuiceJones . . . LOL
I am not saying they are a top team or that Omaha is out of the question for them, but just that vs the top of the SEC they seem average. Maybe they catch fire but right now but if I am a 7 seed TN and MSU is the 10 I don’t protest too much.Chris Burke mentioned in the post game that in 2005 UT lost the first two games in Hoover when he played and then went on to Omaha........
I have actually never wanted to win a game in Hoover so badly, because I am DYING for a rematch with Alabama tomorrow. MSU scares me a bit, but if we somehow won today and Florida beats Alabama, I think our guys would be out for blood tomorrow and it would be a beat down.
Solid job by the offense to get the Hoover monkey off our back and it would be nice to face Alabama again tomorrow and repay them for the loss yesterday.
I'd rather play a tired Florida team playing for the 4th straight day...then we can beat Alabama on Saturday...give the Gators a day they could get an arm or 2 backSolid job by the offense to get the Hoover monkey off our back and it would be nice to face Alabama again tomorrow and repay them for the loss yesterday.
