I think it's more of showing us that we need JRich more involved. McRae makes up for a lot of people not scoring especially late in games.

Who are we talking about? Morehead State? They're tied with Belmont because nobody has played a conference game yet. They are the best OVC team that Tennessee has played this year. Probably top 3-6 in their conference. It helped Tennessee that Drew Kelly injured his ankle and fouled out. He will be a good one going against OVC power Forwards.

We beat Virginia and these same people will talk about how garbage they are and we still suck.

We be at tusculum by 40 and they'll tell us how Pearl would've won by 80.

We beat Kentucky at Rupp and it'll be, well Kentucky is young they're actually better than is.

We beat Florida twice and it'll be, you're welcome Zo, Pearl started this domination that's the only reason you won.

We make the dance and it'll be, should've gotten a better seed.

We make the sweet 16 and it'll be Pearl got us further.

We make the elite 8 and we'll hear, let's see him do it again.

We win it all and it'll be, fire Zo now and find a replacement while we are a hot school.

No, what they didn't want were early losses that we knew we couldn't afford. I am less ticked at the Wich St loss than I am the UTEP or NC St game. The same NC St game that has been called a "must win". Sorry, but folks aren't going to get excited, nor should they, if they go out and beat crappy teams. Glad they won, yes, super excited, no. That won't change unless they miraculously beat UF, UK, Mizzou, LSU, etc.

We beat UK at Rupp and it's a huge step in the right direction, but there is no evidence we'll do that. I am sure you'll be in here criticizing them if they don't though, right?

It'd be a huge step in the right direction, but you'll be in here criticizing them if they don't though, right? Going back to the UK statement, how many pointed out our recent wins over those two teams were against UK and UF teams that had significant players out with injuries?

I find it hard to believe that you think folks will make excuses when they win as opposed to not looking at wins and losses in a realistic light. Those recent wins over those two teams aren't that impressive. They were nice to have as a Vol fan but that's about it.

Considering the amount of talent we have, I'd argue that we should have had a decent seed before the season began, now we are fighting for our tourney lives because the coach sucks. If we make the dance he has to get past the first round, if not then this season has been a failure and the coach needs to go. I've said that before the season and so have many other fans. Don't expect any sympathy on this one.

I'll put it to you this way, I think the percentage chance of Martin getting us to the E8 is about the same as you think the percentage is of Bruce Pearl coming back.

Sorry, but that's no worse a train of thought than wanting to give him a raise after busting out of the NIT 2 years in a row in a weak SEC and decent amounts of talent on the team. Crazy either way.
