When is Cuonzo going to get it?! How many more layups and easy shots in the paint are we going to give up because golden and our guards cannot defend man to man! Sure they are fine against Presbyterian and western Carolina, but not against conference and quality opponents. His hard headedness to not change, and never play zone against these teams some will cost us many more games. It did last year and we made excuses like team is young, and they just haven't gotten used to cuonzos system, but its the same story in year two.

I agree however, I don't think he will ever play a zone. CCM will be his own worst enemy because of his stubbornness to only play man to man D. It will cost him his job eventually.

we play sound defensively, but we need to run and gun thats our best bet at some easy points. The Half court offense doesnt work if you don't have any shooters.

Stokes is a long ways from being dominate in the paint. He is not as good as Murphy and Holloway for Ole Miss

Coach Martin is a sound defensive coach, but we need offense and we need it bad.

According to the SEC TV stats, Tennessee ranks 10th in the SEC in defensive efficiency.

Ole Miss looks like a much better basketball team. More Athletic and better all round basketball players. We are not quick at the guard position. Coach Zoe is a good X and O Coach. He gets all out of his players. I question his player evaluation ability. The players he has brought in, only Stokes, Richardson, and Reese are SEC quality. He completely missed on Chievous, Edwards, Miller, and Moore.

I just don't think we have the personnel to play man on man defense. Mcbee can't defend, Stokes has been carrying the load offensively. Trae Golden has been getting beat and our rotation has been horrible. Yemi is our best defender.
