I’d say it’s a mild stretch to call Pons “unskilled” when he’s averaging 3.5 blocks a game in SEC play. His shot hasn’t fallen as of late but there are other ways to help the team win.

When I think of European skilled players.. I think of being able to use both hands, pivot, head fake. Etc.. Not block shots like an undersized Dominique Wilkins. But is is fun to watch when Pons gets one

I've been critical of Barnes and this team earlier in the year but he has stuck with this group and have them headed in the right direction. Going to be more ups and downs but they'll be ok.

And Barnes has proven he's forgotten more about basketball than 99.7% of us will ever know.
