The official Tennessee vs. Ole Miss quarterfinal game thread, 7:30 pm, SEC network

Real talk though, think it's pretty obvious we need to fire Martin and pull some schollies after such an ugly half of play.

IMO
Dude, yo've GOT to be a troll because that's not funny in the least bit. Just freaking unfunny.....not even ironically

Martin should be saying...

"We shot 26 percent and we're still tied. Just go out there and execute and this game is ours"

People ask, "what's the point of going to the NCAAT if you just lose in the first round to the high seed"???

imo, i think the atomsphere, the pride of saying you made it, and the just the sheer fun it is to take part in such a great and historic tourney is awesome. Win or loss, it's a tradition.

Agreed, a friend once told me they'd rather win the NIT than lose in 1st round of NCAAT, I just don't see it. Such a bigger accomplishment to just make the big dance

No need to panic.

It's a tie game without Stokes making any impact. Golden hit a couple shots and seemed to start to get it going.

If we can drive and kick, we'll be fine.
Still extremely nervous. They can always kick it up a notch too. We need to keep getting their guys in deeper foul trouble and hope our guys stay out of it. 23% shooting for sure should substationally increase. At least I hope.

Couldn't have been posted in the game thread?

Game threads are stupid. They move too fast and you can't have a back and forth conversation with anybody. I want to see feedback on what I post, therefore I post new threads.

That's why cats were so pissed when UK went to the NIT with Billy. They'd take a loss for the next 3 years to preserve the streak they had.

2nd Half!

yeah it is, especially when you're selling a program

sounds a lot like that "I'd rather this team didn't go to a bowl game, they'll just lose"
