This was discussed in another thread. Pearl had a knack for it, and I believe one year that we played NC A&T, they won like 15 games. As you said, the key is to play teams that compete for their conference title or at least win double digit games. It is much better to beat a 15-15 NC A&T team than a 6-24 Presbyterian team.

It actually takes some research because you have to identify those teams that have returning starters at the beginning of the year. Those teams will make runs in their conference. It is amazing what a difference it makes for the RPI. I believe in Pearl's last year, even though we were 19-14, we played at least 10 NCAAT teams. That included Oakland, Belmont, USC, etc.

Hoping this will be the case for my directv down here in FL..looked on computer using my zip and it was not mentioning the game on 650 651..Hoping that will not be the case Go Vols!:good!::clapping:

I hope Stokes can get a double double tonight. I say let him play 25-30 min and let him dominate inside and score 20+ to help build some confidence.
