I think I’d rather play wake, but I’d also rather knock lsu out before we have to see Skenes again. It’s tough on who to root for tonigh

I don’t doubt Wake is really good but I take their success with a grain of salt knowing that the ACC was overall weak this year. And anyone who wants to talk about LNS being small needs to look to Winston-Salem where the lines are 310 and 300; our 6 yr old coach pitch plays on a bigger field than that.

Beating the #8 team in the country with their best pitcher to avoid elimination is a big feat. Terrible coaching decisions on the base path, but great bats, huge game by Burns. Obviously we have long odds to get three wins, but we can beat anybody but Skenes when we play well.

This is the case for every conference not named the SEC. Lowder for Wake went 15-0 throwing up 92-93 and a changeup. No way that dude goes 15-0 in the SEC with that lack of power. UVA’s guy yesterday was 12-2 with a sub 3 ERA and sits 89-91. You can have success in the SEC with that, as a change of pace guy after seeing so much upper 90’s all weekend but you’re not going to dominate to the extent those guys did the ACC.

Bet it was in the game plan and bet he is in the box tomorrow without a lecture from Coach. Same as with pitchers and FA. Cherry picking a play or even a game is just weak.
