How about giving a little credit where credit is due. I know no one will like this but Sal's the D-coordinator, How bout directing some of the anger at him instead of solely on Dooley. I know he is the Head Coach but still some of this crap still belongs to Sal too.....IMHO.

hell would have to double freeze over before we get back in the rankings again...and NO we will NOT win out!! might lose to Missou next weekend and candy the week after so with this D we could lose 2 of the last 3 of the year....we got LUCKY to have won today...should have lost...face the facts this team SUCKS!!!

Here in Big 10 land with you! Come on UT make the change. I too wear the Orange proudly, but now it's getting embarrassing. Hoping no one up here's paying attention!

Also, in Big 10 land and wearing my Orange and White proudly. Even after a debacle like today. I am loyal and love the Vols. I am deeply saddened by the events in our program. The carnage left by Hamilton and the hole that we are in, I eagerly await the change. This feels as bad as losing to Wyoming which I still can't believe!.....and to Kentucky last year......Maybe a little worse?:blink:

Sorry I missed the game today....I see they installed the no-defense rule for Homecoming, that was a nice touch.

It would have been a fun game to watch if you were not a fan of either team. However being a Vol fan the longer I watched the sadder I got. At the end I was grateful for the win but certainly can't enjoy it due to the poor defensive play.

The loss to Wyoming is easily explainable. It was the next game after Fulmer was told that his services were no longer needed. The team was still in shock. I can't explain today as easily.

Actually, it seems easy to explain. The defensive coaching sucks!!!!!!!! At least we don't have to hear excuses anymore about how we are just going up against juggernaut SEC' offenses.

I honestly believe Troy would have had less success playing against no defense. I don't know how many times where the DB's actually stopped when the receiver caught the ball like they were in shock. We have basically the same defense from last year and I just can't see how we are that bad. I know it comes down to coaching and also why do we have 2 coaches coaching the DB's and safeties if I'm wrong correct me. I was excited before the season about having a more aggressive defense at least with the Wilcox defense we didn't give up huge plays every other play. What a frustrating season of what if's we have endured and honestly another wasted year.

I've been saying it. Pull the secondary, run a 6-5. Stuff the run, rush the QB. It couldn't possibly get any worse.
