The Official Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt Game Thread, 12:00pm ET, ESPN2

The crowd doesn't know what's best for the program

gimme a break. This game is exactly the reason why people are pissed. Maybe too little, too late. Again. Your future can't be in the hands of a coach that gets the best out of his team 2-3 times a year.

It's still basketball and entertainment. You just can't keep your emotions out of it.

Revising my attendance estimate to 17500. The lower bowl is 90% full (notwithstanding the "entitled to be highly entertained at all times" section behind the west goal). The upper is about 50% full, esp the south sideline.

Plus, not to downplay how we're playing because we are playing great, but it's Vandy. They're an average SEC team with 7 scholarship players.

Just saying we're not beating UK out there right now.

Our bench has 9 points so far. We rarely get that from them. Keep it up. Cannot allow Vandy back in the game.

Kevin Nash is in attendance. He should power bomb Stallings through the scorer's table after the game.

one issue is there was no reason to get into a slow halfcourt game with Vandy at Vandy this year. Coaching stupidity at best. We are just a few baskets away from what we scored the first game.
It's no coincidence that more shots go in when guys are moving and hopping around, vs walking around or running thru the motions while running 20 seconds off the shot clock.
Then again, there isn't a stat sheet that explains what I mentioned, so the most brilliant here won't be able to figure it out.

I'd pay to see that. Wonder when was the last time he has made it back? I bet he and Devoe go out and throw down some beers after the game.

You will have a few attempts, but I agree.

Ha! I just texted that exact sentiment to my cousin.

Also, I find it amusing that we're up 41-18 at the half....the same score of the 2012 UT-Vandy football game that Vandy fans love to hang over our heads.

Vandy gets two good looks to start the half and it doesn't go down. Then we get the board. Then Barton scores again.
