The Official Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt Game Thread, 12:00pm ET, ESPN2

I really don't understand how everyone seems to think this team is an NCAA lock but last years team who was hot at the end of the year - better than this team - didn't make it.

Seems strange.

But I will take it.

This is what I thought we would look like with Barton. Aggressive and on pace for 80. Shows you it could've happened. Just no consistency.

I'm surprised at how hard the announcers are pushing UT as an NCAAT team.

The field as a whole is worse

There's at least 15k here. This is the fullest upper deck I've seen all year (I'm in it right now). Everyone sitting up here is commenting on how disgusted they are with the student section being 25% full, and how it's "all about them and not the Vols".

This is what this team is supposed to look like. Obviously can't always shoot like this, but still, if you share the ball and make a few shots like this, you avoid bad losses. It's ashame it's taken this long. Vandy isn't good, but they give teams fits and play hard.

Barton came to play today boys. This team acted very different body language wise from the get go

Barton can't stay that hot. But lets see if we try to run them out of the gym or slow it down. That last possession, we decided to run some clock and go into Stokes late, and he turned it over. Just keep playing. Stop worrying about running the motion offense.
