Well, at look at it this way, at least our down year looks a whole lot better than a lot of the other SEC basketball teams down years in recent memory.

That Vandy team has some good young players and a 17 win Ole Miss team was a 30 ft shot away from losing to them. Any win is a good win, especially against a rival.

Only thing I can say is they lost to UK by 2 and OM on a 35 foot shot to OT...at home. Other than that, they aren't good. Can't believe at least 2 of our best free throw shooters missed. Will eventually lose you games.

Not making excuses but this is the same team that took two teams that we took a lost too. To a last second shot and overtime. Conference games are tough. We should have won by more but we didn't we won and we will move forward to try and get more wins.

A win is a win. McRae no showed and Golden didn't play the second half.

Take the win and focus on Saturday.

The same people would be here complaining if we won by 15. I really don't care. Should have gone differently, but still a W. Ultimately, that is all that matters.

I knew this wouldn't be an easy game. Candy had gotten destroyed on Sat at Mizzou and Stallings made two of his starters practice on the scout team. One was Henderson who couldn't get out of his own way but had a good game against us. Ol' Baldy called out their manhood and they almost pulled the upset. Reminded me of UT after the Ole Miss game where they played Bama tough but still lost. UT will have to play much better to get the sweep, but who knows if Candy will be as hungry as they were tonight after they got their ass chewed over the weekend.

How could this program go down so fast ? If you have a difficult time beating Vandy, this program is heading south. Future is not pretty.

Guess you don't follow much. Don't have time to explain. Next year is bright, and this team still has chances. Oh yea, you can blame a guy named Bruce.

One thing you can count on even after a win. The Legions of the Miserable will still be miserable. Gotta love it.

I'll enjoy it. It's much better than a loss. You Legion of the Miserables go drink some vinegar.

Wrong! You blame Mike Hamilton for settling for CM. It amazes me that so many Forget about the success this program had under Bruce.

Haha. Not sure how you came to that assumption. I loved Bruce, and he was fun to watch. I hated seeing him fired. Fact- Bruce put our program in a bad spot. He left Martin with no starters and guys with very little experience. It wouldn't have mattered who took over as coach, he was going to have to recruit quickly and build a roster. It amazes me how so many people don't understand this. Just because Bruce did it doesn't mean the next guy can come in and do it right away. That thinking is just not logical.
