Your alls D is nasty. I have never seen a team try to strip the ball so much. You weren't the only bears fan on this board today.

Bears will be hindered by their O-line, otherwise they could easily win the NFC. When defenses get to Cutler he'll screw up. If he gets solid protection consistently I don't see anyone that can beat them with the way their defense is playing. Tillman should win NFL MVP, rather see him win it than another QB like Manning or Rodgers ...

Bears need a win over Detroit and a loss by Minnesota to make the playoffs. It pains me to say, Go Pack!

Can't believe that this thread disappeared. Anyways, Da Bears are making some noise in Free Agency. Got an upgrade at TE and a legit LT. Need more help at LB. Sucks that they parted ways with Urlacher. Very dissapoint.

I was wondering where this thread went too. Anyway...we also signed the starting left guard from the jets who's name escapes my mind. I do know he's a good football player. That gives us a two time pro bowl left tackle, legit starting left guard, and a stud TE. And I've got this sneaky suspicion that they're gonna work something out with Urlacher.

With that being said....I lost a lot of respect for Phil Emory. He's done a good job in Chicago this far, but you don't offer Urlacher 1 yr 2 million. That's pretty pathetic. Then in his place they signed the LB from Denver who missed half of last season for PED's. And hes not as good as an aged Urlacher. Really? That's the best you can do for the face of the franchise for the last 13 years?

ANYWAY...they've put themselves in a really good position to do what they want in the draft. I didn't support the firing of Lovie, but I do think we hit a home run hiring Tressman. We've got the chance to be a REALLY REALLY good football team next year on paper. But I do think they are underestimating Urlacher's value in the locker room. He's the reason head cases like Cutler and Marshall can blend with the team in Chicago.

I tried to search for the old one and could not find it. Da Bears most defintely deserve their own thread.

On a note about the team. I hope Jay Cutler can be more consistent this year. There have been some upgrades to the Oline. Thankfully Webb will not be the left tackle this year.
