The Official Thread of "Da Bears"

FIRED Bears GM and Coach per ESPN today --- 2 losers that never should get another NFL job

Can they take Cutler with them?

Signing him to that 7 year mega deal was a huge mistake - that GM has no business sense at all - the Halas family is notorius for being cheap - the best thing for the Bears is to sell them to some billionaire, like the guy that bought the Clippers -- and eat Cutlers contract

ESPN is saying the same thing.

Yeah, giving Cutler such a huge contract was stupid. The guy is just not a consistently good QB.

I don't know what the Bears are going to do right now. Their coach seems to have lost the team, they suck on both sides of the ball, and their quarterback is not very good (and extremely overpaid). Basically, the Bears are a massive dumpster fire right now.

Since Jay Cutler came to the Chicago Bears in 2009, his TD to INT ratio is 22nd best in the NFL. He's the highest paid QB in the league in 2014.

ESPN's website said because of his huge contract, the Bears were probably stuck with him until 2017.

I doubt thats a surprise - add some others - Rex Ryan, Tom Coughlin, Jay Gruden, Lovie Smith, Jim Harbaugh, Ron Riveria - it could be a record year for firings

No way Lovie is fired after just one year.
