It’s been a great weekend. Vols are 2-0 and I got my tickets to this awesome festival to see bands I grew up with in September. Life sure is grand right about now.

Yes, but the most wins in a single CWS is 4 by the 1951 squad that finished runner-up. They lost their first game then won 4 straight to make it to the championship and lost 3-2 to Oklahoma. This is the closest we have been to a championship since that team. 73 years. And back then they only selected 8 teams directly into the CWS. They didn’t have preliminary rounds.
