Best athlete I have ever seen in person. Watched him return a kickoff for 90+ yards for a TD. Eric Berry was amazing...all-pro in the NFL. But Dale Carter is the best DB to ever play at UT. He was a 1st team All American Safety AND LED the nation as a 1st team AA kick returner that averaged 29.6 yards for the season. Almost 30 yards per...back when 90% of kickoffs actually were returned. Dale was the fastest player on the field every time he stepped on it...even in the Spurrier days. Berry was a harder hitter in run support...but Dale became a probowl and all-pro at Corner. He was faster and only Deion Sanders was as good as him at CB in that era.
