And this doesn't really have anything to do with the new system, but it would totally be different it was still the 4 team system because of less exposure.

I don't think we lose to Vandy. But what if we do? After all the talk, not just from Tennessee fans but everybody.

Anyway, just my thoughts. I don't dwell on this stuff, but to say it doesn't cross my mind would be dishonest.

But to be a little dramatic here, for me, I'm a Tennessee Volunteers football fan first. After that I'm a fan the Gaters losing. Alabama losing. Georgia losing. Ohio state losing. In what world can you imagine wanting Ohio state to blow the doors off Indiana? Florida to blow the doors off Ole Miss?

Okay, its fair to say in the past I've wanted the gaters to beat Georgia to help us get to the SECCG, or Alabama to beat Florida to help us get to the SECCG. Obviously that's good because we were close enough for it to matter, but that was at most 1 time a year.

We've all become fans of Teams we hate most for several weeks.

I get your sentiment too.

I have the absolute hatred for Alabama. I was in Athens Alabama as a kid and it really framed my football feelings.
My mother’s family is from Kentucky so Fawk them too. Florida and Georgia are mild annoyances to me but I like you so I’ll shift Florida to hater on your behalf

I never had a problem with Georgia until Kirby. The Georgia fans I knew were cool and I really liked Mark Richt. But everything changed. I've always hated Bama because it was what we're supposed to do, but I never had any problems with their fans either.

But Gaters.

And it's not just their fans it's a bunch of our fans that "walk around" VN holding their sack. Some of them (our fans) would get all up in your face if you said anything bad about Spurrier. Fawk him too. Great coach for a Whiney little bish.

I need to stop here and continue in the triggert thread. Lol.

Look at who the big0 added to their already terrible bottom half conference. Look who we added. The conference did it to themselves. My solution is send utjr and justOK packing and get back to where we haven't set ourselves up for 6 2 loss teams at the end of the year.

While thinking about the Vanderbilt thing I thought to myself, if it was still the 4 team system, and I was choosing the 4, who would it be?

Who would you choose?

I don’t think there are 4 who have set themselves apart as the best 4. Every team is problematic with either too many loses or weak schedule. Georgia is the only one who has loses to good teams and deserves to be there. Everyone else is a coin toss.

Ohio st.
Alabama

I hate putting Bama in but if I'm being honest I think they're playing better than anyone else not already listed.

Don't mean I'm right. Just my opinion.

The committee issues rankings for entertainment purposes (eyeballs). They select playoff participants. Whatever their rationale, one should not expect it to be reasonable.
