East Brainerd is the door to hell. Traffic wise that is, lol. I go to Barrett Parkway now and then just to remind myself it could be worse.

yea, i avoid Barrett like it was Tuscaloosa, Northpoint and Perimeter are the places to go since they have killed the nightlife in Buckhead

Barrett sucks but no where else to get bahama breeze. Thats also where the homedepot clearance center is and I trek there at least once every 3 months or so.

That's why we hit it too. My step-daughter lives in Atlanta so we eat there whenever we come back through. I would love to see one open here somewhere.

I asked the manager if they had thought about it and he said this area was not even close to being big enough for them to open one here. :blink:

Another place on Barrett that is real good Is Giavonnis. It is a family owned italian chain down there. Some good eats right there. Then off the windy hill exit I love me some Pappaduex.

if it is the same chain that i am thinking of, than that was the only thing i ever enjoyed in dallas, tx. spent a week there working and was counting down the hours until i could get out of the worthless part of the world. but it was a good mexican joint nonetheless.

Not the same chain for sure. Pappaduex is a seafood joint ( Have an incredible crawfish bisque ) and right next to it is Pappasitos which is italian I think. It may be mexican I have not dined there.

it was pappasitos that i was thinking of, but i believe the same people own both restaurants. thanks for reminding me of that. it has been a few years.

there is a BB and a Pappadeux at Northpoint, up GA400 at Mansell
