I'd be more concerned with the racists utterances of the preacher of the church Obama claims to be a member of.

yeah it is a joke hence the rest of the post being kind of nuts too, I mean if I do not laugh about the choices I might just cry.

Just wanted to make sure before I totally called you out on it. Some of it read to be a bit serious so I wasn't sure.

nope but all jokes aside, I have no idea who I will vote for. I find myself leaning towards the right but there is no one with the charisma to win in the right, so I am thinking I may vote in the democratic primary against Hillary and then go back to the right for the main event. I am not impressed with the right at all so I might just stick with the most logical Democrat who ever that might turn up to be.

How do you come in full bore as a "Fred Head" and then contemplate voting Democrat?

I'm not ripping you. I'm genuinely interested in your thought process.

not only that, but the "most logical" democrat isn't even vying for the nomination.

The more I look into what I feel is right and wrong, I have been jaded by all of the politics and everyone cater to who ever they are speaking to. But Fred got the party excited again (before he said he was in). I thought he would be that well spoken charismatic leader and speaker that could gain the repect of the world. And in every debate I have watched he has set by and let everyone else talk, he expresses no interesting points of view that are much different than what we have in office now. He seems to be more of the same. And as far as me voting democrat, I don't see it happening BUT I have not ruled it out. I want to see how it all plays out. I know I do not want Billary back in office. I do not know to much about the rest of the D's since I have been watching the right so closely. But I am torn this year so yall try and lead me and I might just vote the same way you do, I am going into this with an open mind.

I guess what confuses me about this is that none of the 3 Democratic frontrunners are exactly moderates that would seem to appeal much to a conservative from a fiscal or social standpoint.

an open mind and who ever has the best ideas for our country, there is still alot of debating to be done. None of the people at the top interest me too much. I am just searching is all that I am saying, I am not buying that you have to vote D or R, I am just currently not happy with any of our current choices

You definitely should not automatically vote D or R, but there are some general principles in the platforms that are pretty important no matter who the candidate is.

agreed, but all I am saying that I am frustrated with current choices and I am not ruling anyone out.

I'm not impressed with any of the GOP candidates either, but that isn't enough to get me to consider voting for either Hillary, Obama or Edwards. Hillary is a socialist, Obama is the product of one of the most corrupt state democratic parties in the country, and Edwards is a hypocritical shyster attorney.

If I were to ever vote democrat (again, voted for Billy in '92), I'd vote for Lieberman, Zell Miller, or Jim Trafficant.

Huck is shooting himself in the foot with all these recent media gaffs and quotes being put out into the public. Everytime I read about something from him I shake my head like "What? Did he really say that?"

Fred has been done for quite awhile and IMO was never actually in it

McCain perplexes me as he just like...sits in 3rd place (or so it seems) and refuses to move up or down in any poll....he is just stuck right there "almost" to the top
