I walk daily on Lee Drive where the battle of Fredericksburg took place. I also lived in a house across from Stonewall’s death site. Our house where we currently live is on site of Lee’s winter headquarters in 1962.

That hq is a special place indeed. Few know the story of the massive revival that took place in camp that winter. Many soldiers came to know Jesus as their savior. How many of them just in time before they would meet their maker a few months later on the fields of Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville.

Stonewall, a devout Christian made sure there was always a Sunday service and frequently revival meetings at night. It wasn't mandatory to attend but most of the soldiers did anyway because of their respect for him.

The man lived it.
