The Official Zone Severe Weather Thread

Storms are here already in Gwinnutia. Forecast didn’t have them arriving till eleven.
similar here in Atlanta. Wasn't supposed to arrive until 10. been here for at least an hour now.
thankfully just rain at this point.

Got lucky in my little corner of Jackson County. Tornadoes 10 miles north, 10 miles south and 5 miles east, but none on me and no down trees or limbs. Got the wind, rain and noise and never lost power.

They had tornado icons all over the weather map this morning showing where they were detected and/or confirmed. most west and south of nashville. Looked like well over a dozen. The TN/AL line counties got rocked hard all night.

Power is out in Gwinutia…

Weirdly twisted Gwinnett County residents despise Atlanta and continuously attempt to dissociate from it. Every now and then, sane residents have to thwart their idiocy. We don’t want a commercial airport in Lawrenceville, ruining property values and quality of life. Those insane tinklewickets can use the giant airport to the south. These used tampons deny that their own prosperity is connected to the loathsome city incorporated in parts of Fulton and Dekalb counties. Honestly, many reasonable residents would find it agreeable if they moved to Cobb county or Florida.
