You can't do any of that unless the O-line does its job. They didn't do that the last time we played Georgia, and they didn't do it against Missou.
If we can't we need more roll outs from the qb, at least it gives you a better chance.

Just ain't happening this year.
Not enough talent. Very penalized team. Awful offensive playcalling. Wins against mediocre talent. Can't overlook any of this. Georgia gonna wip us 40 plus. They have top 5 classes the last whatever years. And a 2-time defending national champion on their way to 3 straight Natties.
Neyland Stadium - half empty at halftime.
Get ready for next week..
Should be a win against Vandy though. Go Vols win lose or draw.
Hopefully a Gator Bowl birth against a quality opponent.

Agree. Milton cannot sit there in the pocket and try to find a receiver. It just lets their D pin their ears back and come strong. If he’s not stationary, it will make things a bit more challenging for GA. And slants, and other quick hitters will be way more productive than finding the big shots down field. Get the ball, get it out quick and don’t give their blitz packages any time to work. Do that, and we give them a game. Play our traditional two runs up the middle and then look for a big pass - we lose by 50. We cannot play to their strengths. GBO!

Georgia has looked beatable at times, but we aren't beating the Georgia team we saw last week.
Certainly not if paired with the TN team we saw last week. Maybe both teams got it out of their systems, and we will have our best game and UGA have their worst.

The way we win is not wasting opportunities and minimizing the quick 3 and outs. We wasted several good opportunities during the Missouri game that likely would have changed the entire direction of the game.

Secret to success:

Just prior to kick-off, every player eats a tube of cookie dough and drinks a very large Red Bull.

At half time come out of the tunnel eating Pumpkin Pie and then chanting, "You Ain't Got No Pie"

THEN, UGA won't be able to think about anything BUT pumpkin and they'll be wondering why THEY didn't get any pie from their coaches.

Fans should show UGA what they are eating and then defiantly eating Brisket Sandwich, Hot Dogs, Pringles, Beer, etc.

The UGA O-Line & D-Line won't care about playing at all and be totally focused on food they don't have. Imagine weighing 330 lbs and not having any Brisket, Pumpkin Pie or Hot Dogs.

Oh, and one more thing, we will have to beat the refs too. If this game is close in the 4th quarter, you better believe the refs are going to step in.

Dream on, been hoping for that all season. Get ready for a heavy dose of straight drop backs and slow developing dives plays right up the gut

To have any hope we can't commit penalties. And I'm not optimistic this team can play disciplined because we're one of the most penalized teams in FBS football and that isn't all due to refs. We have a real problem there and that's on the coaching.

We've GOT to get off the field when they're 3rd and long. We're so bad on 3rd down that I expect our opponents to convert lining up on a 3rd & 25. That's another problem almost every game.

The team is what it is at this point in the season. I hope we can pull off the upset. Go Vols!

We have to OWN the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball! Period. And that's a tall task! Change my mind!
That won’t happen

The only way we win is if Milton puts it all together and has a career day and his receivers don’t drop balls

Maybe the fire alarm got pulled at their hotel a couple of times last night and fatigue will set in early.

probably true but I’m still dreaming of fumbled snaps, tipped balls, punt returns and other plays that can sometimes offset a talent advantage. But realistically, Dolly singing Rocky Top might be our highlight today.

I agree, these are things that can make a huge difference.

And honestly, if not it’s still pretty cool to have Dolly a fan and singing Rocky Top!

So far this year, in 10 previous games, our coaches don't adjust or change during the game. Maybe today we do, fingers crossed.
