That's not an excuse. Texass pulls in top-five recruiting classes year after year. If the Castrated Bulls are playing as many freshmen as Tennessee, it can only be because they've failed to develop players for a few years running.

Tennessee is playing so many freshmen because we don't have anybody else. The only good recruiting class we've had recently is the one that Derek Dooley signed this spring.

Would Mack like to swap rosters?

Take a look at the number of freshmen in their two deep, it's pretty staggering. They return almost their entire two deep next season. They will be back to getting 10 wins along with the annual loss to Oklahoma in the RRR and losing the division by a game.

Gilbert will be a good qb once he starts playing with confidence, they have a young o-line, malcom brown next year, and some good young guys on D. So I think they will be back to a 10 win team

Or he could just be a bad QB. Texas at least has the advantage of being THE universty in a state with a large talent pool. If Gilbert isn't the guy then someone else will step in. If Texas doesn't get better next year then I will be very surprised.

During the Texas/A & M broadcast. the broadcast crew said Mack Brown had no idea what went wrong this season...What did go wrong?? Were they on their 3rd coach in 3 seasons?? Were they down 15 scholarships?? Were they inundated with injuries to key players?? Did they play one of the 6 toughest schedules in the country??? Did they play in the SEC???? What did go wrong???? Just wondering.......

all he has as to say that TX is "good" is use TN schedule and "wait til next year"

what an arguement! TX should start trying to get a bowl committee to listen to this and maybe they would reconsider and let TX in because after all - they would beat teams TN did

I'm a Tennessee fan because I moved to Knoxville from tx, I never said anything bad about Tennessee. Except that Texas would have atleast 6 wins with Tennessee's schedule.

Ok. Gonna point out your failures. You stated every ranked team UT has played has spanked em. Wrong. Go ask LSU and south Carolina.

Said ut had 2 sec wins. Correct. 3 now. How many would fakeUT have with same schedule? 2. I'd take Kentucky over Texas.

And let's compare. RealUT=3 years, 3 coaches, multiple new offenses and defenses. 60-65 scholarship players. Some not even sec quality. One of top defenders is a former walk on.

FakeUT=runner up for NC. Top 5 class in recruiting every single year. according to fans of fakeUT, greatest HC ever in waiting, because he screams a lot. Plays in pansy conference.

Yeah, I see your point. Very comparable. Enjoy bowl season watching the vols play while fakeUT sits at home.

I'm going to say this again I'm a Tennessee and Texas fan. Tennessee is not the real ut though ask any college football fan outside each state.
