Did these folks just wake up one day and just decide to become gay?

Do these folks not have the same rights as traditional families?

"Family Values". Pretty sure it's really just about being a good parent, isn't it?

Are you saying families without children don't have family values??? Hurtful and outdated thinking, if so.

Next, You’re assuming every republican agrees with what elected republican reps/officials do in their private or not so private life and never call them out on it. That would be false as several on here are critical of Trump’s behavior. You’re also assuming ALL republicans must, should, have to be, ought to be perfect or it reflects on the entirety of other republicans. What I don’t see is you being critical of your own party members and their perversions, cheating, scams, corruption, etc. Why is that? Because the left has zero moral compass? Because you don’t believe in any right or wrong? Or, is it because you’re just a partisan hack wasting everyone’s time on this board with cheap gotchas?

There's the rub. Do Republicans have these standards and just constantly fail to uphold them or do they just profess to have these standards and wield the air of having them for their own gain?

If given the option to vote for people who claim to have standards or those who claim to have none, I’ll still pick standards even though I realize sometimes people lie.

I think it’s childish of you to attack people for failing to live up to those standards

Could someone name a single institution in which not a single hypocrite or person who violates their profession's stated ethics can be found?

Instead of identifying specific instances of failed ethical examples within a party, the focus should be on each party's policies and the ramifications of those policies being enacted.
