Memphis lost at home in regulation to the team that defeated UCONN in 6 overtimes last night.
That was before Cal put Evans in at pg and the young guys had a chance to gel with the the team. Wait a minute, beating UConn is quite a feat, right?

UCONN would beat Memphis til they got tired of hammering them, take a break, then kick their ass some more.

who said lawson won't be 100% come tourney time? he shouldn't have to play till next sat/sun. Nice to play w/out the acc POY and still win against a decent opp. hate hate hate

btw, solid game by the vols tonite. Best game I've seen them play in a while.

If Tulsa wants to make a statement, today they will get their chance.

Just got in from the game and Tulsa didn't even have a chance at the start of the 2nd. half. It was a Tyreke and Dozier show. The Defense this team plays is just unreal.

I figured as much. I caught bits and pieces of the broadcast but it didn't look worth investing much time in when Memphis was dominating like that. I didn't really think Tulsa stood much chance - was just saying that if they wanted to make a statement, today was the day.
