I finally got around to watching this show and I am absolutely hooked. DC is absolutely crushing it with this one.

While I thought The Batman was decent, not great, I'm craving to watch it again now that this world of Gotham organized crime is being fleshed out with this series. Colin Farrell is absolutely brilliant, but the real show-stealer is definitely Sofia Falcone, played by Cristin Milioti. She will be drowning in Emmy's for this, I'm willing to bet Ferrell and the show itself will too.

Anyone else watching this?

Yes. I'm trying. At times, I think Farrell is trying too hard. Millioti is excellent in the series.

To me the dark overtone gets stale midway through, with nothing pushing the narrative along. It isnt a bad story, esp as DC sucks so badly in everything else. It's just slow. Reminiscent of NF shows that watered down content to hit a 8 or 12 episode season.

My take, glad you like it.

Just starting to look bad a$$ now. After watching the first episode, I went back and watched The Batman. I sure hope it is renewed.

Don’t look good. Ominous, no Season Final just Final. Hope not. Heard about super villains to take his place.

I didn't get that sense at all. Looked like they 100% left the door open for any direction they want to go from here. Excellent finale.

I really love in today's modern day comic adaptations, you're seeing a lot more villain development than them being just a "bad guy"

You really see why Oz is the way he is, he has a serious mental health issue when it comes to craving his mother's approval. Same with Sofia, she was probably the only good egg in a corrupt family, and they made her what she is.

Spoiler side note: I'm very interested to know what that letter said.

Just watched the season (hopefully will get season 2) finale and at the end of the day no one has better collection of villains than Batman.

Me too, lotta bad villain(ette)s to pick from. Like reverse Netflix with Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke etc...
Just keep on going. 👍👍 I'll still be watching.
