PBS news just said Obama was in NYC but won't meet any leaders at the UN because the amount of time it takes to prepare for those meeting would be a distraction from the election. L-O-L

To be honest, I would rather him leave it up to Clinton if he wouldn't set aside the proper amount of time to prepare.

Really? where you here that at? Chrisssssy Mathews?

Things can change but if the election were today Obama would win big in the electoral college.

The polls are tending in Obamas favor in the battleground states.

Romney has had a run of bad weeks since the convention.

Romney can win , if he does he is going to have to turn things around. So far he has been a terrible candidate. With O's record Romney should be up and pulling away in polls.

Loved the RNC chair's comments yesterday: Obama ought to be in briefings instead if interviews with Beyonce, Jay-z, and a Miami radio dj called Pimp with a Limp.

Dude, we get it. President is black.

It doesn't matter if he is purple polka dotted, he should attend intelligence briefings, do you not agree?

I thought he was half white also?

It's not important that he is half black or half white, the important consideration is that he is half assed.

I think he has several reasons

1) Israel has called him out several times
2) His ME policy has continually been one of trying not to look like we favor Israel over others and he bends over backwards to show it.
3) He doesn't want any part of what Israel might do.
4) He doesn't like Netanyahu (sp?)

It's not about him having a phone.

Not to ention he was asleep when he got that 3AM call.

Douchebag is an appropriate description of our current teleprompter in chief.

You are correct sir and appears he will be for 4 more years.

According to whom?

In 1980 Reagan was down 8% in popular polls, he won 49 states in a landslide election.

Right now, Rasmusson who is the best indicator and is historically the most accurate in forcasting results of elections, has Romney up by 5 to 11%.

Romney may carry all fifty states.

Of course Obama may carry the other 7 or 8 states but they don't count you know.

This type of thing is Obama biggest failure.

It doesn't appear he is willing to build relationships with foreign leaders or with congress.
A short meeting with world leaders when they visit the US could go a long way.
If he had tried to work with congress, invited members of the GOP to the WH to lunch/dinner and tried to build relationships we may not have all this gridlock in DC.

It seems like he thinks he is above building friendships .

Obama hasn't learned you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

You're forgetting that President Obama did invite Congressional Republicans to the White House to build relationships and bipartisanship. He even went through a golf playing phase with Boehner, and he compromised his proposal to raise desperately needed revenue by limiting a tax increase to 4.6% or a 39.6% rate only on incomes of a million dollars and higher. The Republicans rejected everything, refused to close tax loopholes by calling that a tax increase, and even called for reducing taxes on the highest incomes. They stated that preservation of wealth is their first priority, not balancing the budget or preserving the nation...preserving wealth for the most wealthy, period.

...and he compromised his proposal to raise desperately needed revenue by limiting a tax increase to...

If you can demonstrate how a tax increase necessarily leads to a revenue increase in a closed system, I might entertain your thoughts on taxes in an open system.

Best of luck.

You do realize that neither side was serious during those "bipartisan negotiations"? The Republicans were never going to raise taxes and Obama wasn't going to touch entitlements.

Keep telling yourself that only the Republicans are responsible for this mess and that Obama is an innocent victim.
