(Obama courting campaign contributions form Teamsters.)

For those who expected that the Democrats would transform themselves into the most ethical group of politicians in history, I have got some news for you. Not gonna happen!

Further evidence of this fact came when the Labor Department moved to get rid of a regulation that was aimed at rooting out financial corruption of Big Labor.

The new Labor Department decided that there was no need to keep an eye on the unions, because, let’s face it, there is no corruption there. No, can’t find any corruption in the labor movement. Nothing to see here. Let’s just move on.

Hold on now, I didn't say I authorized attacks on pirates, I said I authorized a tax on pirates!!

Seriously... you couldn't find a lower resolution picture of Obama? You're going to eventually crash VN's host server with this stuff.

When he touted the stimulus spending bill, he was a socialist driving us to bankruptcy.

When he ordered the Cabinet to cut spending in each of their departments, he was copying the movie "Dave."

More to follow ....

Completely agree. I am critical of him for allowing pork into the stimulus bill. I understand why it happened, but I hate it. On the flip side, I am not willing to then criticize him for ordering cuts in spending. Would I like to see more? Sure. But obviously there are some people out there who are going to say that whatever he does, the opposite was the correct answer. Even hwat he does is totally consistent with their view of the world.

Because having Obama fail is much more important to them than having the US of A succeed.[/QUOTE]

Obama's success would be America's failure. If Obama succeeds in getting his socialist agenda established, the USA of the past 230 years will be no more.

If achieving world peace required torturing a single baby, asks a character in Fyodor DostoyevskyÂ’s The Brothers Karamazov, would it be worth it?

“Imagine that you are creating a fabric of human destiny with the object of making men happy in the end, giving them peace and rest at last, but that it was essential and inevitable to torture to death only one tiny creature — that baby beating its breast with its fist, for instance — and to found that edifice on its unavenged tears, would you consent to be the architect on those conditions? Tell me, and tell the truth.”

The liberalism that Barack Obama seeks to complete answers DostoyevskyÂ’s question with an emphatic yes. What is ObamaÂ’s abortion-on-demand-forever policy but the building of a modern American way of life upon the graves of tortured babies? And not just the unavenged tears of one baby but millions of them.

This week, however, Obama did avenge the tears of terrorists. World peace, he said, isn’t worth theirs. He lectured the CIA that “What makes the United States special and what makes you special is precisely the fact that we are willing to uphold our values and ideals even when it’s hard.”

i 100% want him to fail, i don't want this country to be a socialist nation, i don't want the government to control my healthcare and i don't want my taxes increased for the "common good"

his success is America's failure. the fact is that man hates what America stands for and he is doing everything in his power to change America.

Fanatical jibberish.

You could easily say Bush couldn't win either.

Just depends on what side you're on as to whether you think the criticism is valid or if it's unfair.

I happen to think a lot of the criticism of Bush was/is fair, and I think most of the criticism of Obama has been pretty valid.

A great deal of the criticisms and demonization of Bush was for all the wrong reasons and done in the name of political expediency.

Barry hasn't been criticized enough.
