The Problems with Trans-ideology

I assume Advanced courses

None of the advanced courses I took in HS gave any extra credit where grades were concerned; In fact most of those teachers were stingier on grades than the other teachers. One of my teachers said that her students didn't get As ... even though we worked a lot harder than kids in regular courses. I'd still take the lower GPA and much more effort than the easy way out, but I'll admit it annoys me seeing GPAs higher than a 4.0, and knowing some should probably be more like a 3.0.

School scoring is the last thing I am worried about these days.

I may just be a grumpy old man because a lot of things seem to annoy me ... and it seems pretty often there's a dem policy attached to them, or somebody thinks they know better than how things used to be done.

'Nobody told me how lonely being a man is': Transgender man weeps while explaining how much easier it was to make friends with 'open, vulnerable women' - and says he can see why suicide rate among males is higher

A clip of a weeping transgender man has swept the internet, after he cried while saying how much harder it was to strike up meaningful friendships as a man than it had been as a woman.

James Barnes, who was born female but transitioned to male eight years ago, works as a life coach to help others going through life changes. He recently opened up about the challenges he's faced since becoming a man - especially loneliness.

Breaking down in tears, Barnes said: 'No one told me how lonely being a man is.

'I had closer friendships with random women I met in the bathroom at clubs before I transitioned because of how open women are, than I've had in my 8 years of transitioning because women are just so much more vulnerable and deep than men.

Just because you think you are male but actually female, or "transition", doesn't mean you're a male. Shocking right?

Did you see the academic paper I posted about drag pedagogy? It very much gives the game away and seems to be openly stating they’re coming for the kids

No.

I'm not going to buy into the notion that one biased piece of academic research speaks for an entire population group. You're long sold on the notion so I believe that you believe the paper is ironclad proof.

Even if the paper was written by one of the leading figures in the drag Queen story hour movement? That seems like the opposite of a biased piece

This isn’t a defector. One of the central people behind drag Queen story hour wrote an academic paper about the benefits of drag Queen story hour. They go by Little Miss Hot Mess

We can agree that DQSH serves no purpose other than to normalize drag for children. Like GRS, I don't think you're going to find much support for that here or in the vast majority of the gay community.

So again, if you're trying to paint an entire social group based off the words of someone who is heading up the story hour, it carries little gravitas with people like me.

Not an entire social group, but the drag queens specifically involved with story hour, is that not a fair group to judge based on this?

Also, I am glad we agree on your first sentence at least. Are you willing to say you oppose drag Queen story hour (I don’t mean legally, people should be allowed to be poor parents to an extent)?

Sure, that's a fair group to judge on this, but the narrative is certainly that the LGBT crowd as a whole is coming for the kids.

I don't have kids, but I don't see a point in DQSH in schools. Same goes for any sort of youth pastor being present in a public school lunch room (this was a big thing in my high school). I don't see a point.

If it's an independent thing that parents are bringing their kids too, I don't see anything beneficial to it, but I don't think it's detrimental enough to outlaw.

You may be surprised, but I think we are on the same page. I don’t think the average “queer person” (I’m assuming that’s the best term here) is doing anything different than any other citizen
