The Problems with Trans-ideology

Didn't you just do that *exact* same thing when you claimed trans men aren't trying to fundamentally change what is defined as manhood?

Sounds like you're being obtuse to be obtuse at this point.
In what ways have trans men tried to change the male landscape? I may be ignorant to it, I’m not being purposely obtuse.

I have seen trans women do alllll these things to attempt to change (and actually quite successfully) change what it means to be a woman.

I haven’t seen that with trans men.

Someone being named Woman of the Year or using more inclusive language does not affect you. You’re not the spokesperson for all women either and most don’t view acceptance of trans women as “misogyny,” this is just another thing to hide behind

This discussion has sunk to the sewers of Stupidtown. The contradictory nature is absurd.

You're asking the wrong person. I don't let 3% of the population rule my disposition or my identity.

YOU speak for the majority of women?

Are you a biological male?? If so, I assure you that you DON’T speak for biological women.

That’s the very definition of being a misogynist. Imagine being so far left that you’re actually circling back to the right.

Makes absolutely no sense 🤦🏻‍♀️

Saying most people aren't TERFs isn't "speaking for the majority of women," it's true. You can repeat that you're a woman all you want and it won't change the fact that the things I mentioned don't affect you in any meaningful way

You don’t get to decide what affects me or any other biological woman in a meaningful way.

I don’t get to decide what affects men in a meaningful way.

I’m white and I don’t get to decide what affects other races in a meaningful way.

I’m just going to assume you are trolling and purposefully trying to be ridiculous. Nothing else makes sense.

Plenty of women have said the exact same things I'm saying, and the vast majority of women are not TERFs. So like I said, the "I'm a woman and therefore everything I say is fact" thing doesn't work. You are not up for Woman of the Year; the person who wins does not affect you in a meaningful way.

It does make one wonder where the line of legitimacy for it mattering "in any meaningful way" might be. The criteria must be interesting. Is it how much they themselves are affected? If so we should all basically have the attitude the world can just pretty much burn if me and mine are gtg.

If, as a man, I started whining about how gay men make it so hard to be a man by existing, any woman can and should tell me to STFU and grow up

Your flaw is assuming you in any way speak for biological women.
Written by a biological woman at the National Women’s Law Center, now what? She doesn’t speak for women either but you do?

Most TERFs came to their ideology via second-wave feminism that radicalized into the lie that trans people are a threat to women.
TERFs have taken so-called feminism and twisted it into transphobia. Which is on purpose! More explicit extremist movements often appeal to people on the fringes, the most dedicated to their mission of harm. Where TERFs draw their power from is by disguising themselves as feminists, and who wouldn’t want more of those? They know that on the surface, they appear to be fighting for women, but in actuality, they’re fighting against us.
The real-world impacts of TERF ideology manifest in a myriad of ways. Cis women are being harassed in bathrooms because people perceive them to be trans; cis Black women have been banned from the Olympics for their natural testosterone levels. Trying to control people’s bodies ends up with all of us being policed if we don’t conform to stereotypical gender roles. There’s no middle ground or acceptable level—we have to stop all of it.

First of all… I’m not a cis woman. I’m a woman.

Second of all I don’t believe that trans “women” are women.

They’re just not.

Let me know when a trans “woman” has a uterus, ovaries or a cervix.

Let me know when a trans “woman” can carry a child.

Let me know when a trans “woman” has a period where bleeding is actually involved.

If they want to say something like “I want to live like a woman” then I could probably support that. But to say they ARE women is an absolute falsehood.

You seem to be a liberal and I bet you stand for women’s rights in every instance except this one.

This is not a "women's rights" issue, being anti-trans hurts women too. At least you stopped acting like you're the spokesperson for biological women

Not that interesting. I can however tell you that "I had to watch a trans person win an award that I didn't know existed from a publication that I don't read, and this tabloid told me that it means I'm under attack 😢" doesn't meet it

Men shouldn't be telling women what to do only matter for abortion apparently..telling them to accept men taking titles, scholarships, and jobs etc is perfectly acceptable..the most leftist argument ever.

LMFAO your sources are always the best. It claims two “black women” couldn’t compete because of their “testosterone levels”. I took time to read about it.

They mention 3 total “women”. All three of these “women” have XY chromosomes. So the “stereotypical gender role” for women they didn’t conform to, was being an actual man. How evil for them to be excluded!

Just a courtesy but from a prior exchange you're too emotionally invested in this topic for me to get into it with you. No worries, no insults, no hard feelings.
