The storyline isn’t as deep this season, and character development isn’t really a focal point either. But what it lacks in those areas in makes up for with a lot of bloody action sequences.

Watched the first episode of S2.....and I really hope it gets better.

The episode dragged on and on top of that the whole drama seemed a bit forced. Castle and the new lady interest have no chemistry at all, I didn't buy them as any kind of couple. It finally got better when the fighting happened at the end but even still it felt like the Iron Fist people were in charge of it. It was kind of slow and way too telegraphed in the choreography.
