We need a damn AD with the balls to get things done. Dont take no for an answer and **** what the experts say! Are you with me? Well meet Charlie Strong. He has SEC exp, tho not as HC yet. He believes in defense and physical play. He has a chip on his shoulder because he thinks he got passed over on the auburn job for chizik due to his race...or his wife's. He has something to prove and he doesn't seem to care that this job could end his career. Although he wasnt anyones top choice, he may be just what we need to get back on track. A stubborn, hard nosed-guy who can put a damn defense on the field that wont give up 50 to troy at home.

He gave up 45 to Syracuse this year. Just sayin....

He's proven what he can do with SEC talent against SEC offenses. Just saying.

Guys clearly anybody that loses a game once a year anywhere is a loser and.can't win ever... We all know there are.at least 1,000 college football coaches that go 16-0 every year... The only reason Hart hasn't picked one of then up is because he's a bammer plant that can't stand to see us win... I saw him sabotage the Gruden deal with my own eyes... We're doomed fer sure...

Yeah, I'm sure that had NOTHING to do with who his head coach was. Having Meyer has HC could've made Sal look good. Furthermore, has anyone even looked at Louisville's total scores this year???? They gave up quite a few points to some awful teams. I don't get the Charlie Strong lovefest. He is not what UT needs.

Are you really trying to say Urban Meyer, an offensive guy, was the reason Florida's defenses were good? Surely, you are not this dumb.

What happened to the "Offensive Guru" once he hired Addazio??? Tell me something, name ONE time Meyer has been blown out... I think the man knows what he's doing on defense. Answer the other question too, while you're at it. Why did Strong give up so many points in the worst BCS AQ conference in the nation? Even furthermore, where did all this "Strong will be a top notch recruiter" talk come from? It's garbage, my friend.

He has the 37th ranked scoring D at Louisville. Are you really trying to say Urban Meyer is who ran the D at Florida and was the reason for their success. If so, you are an idiot.

If you haven't seen the recruits responses to Strong's potential hiring here, then I would suggest you do so. Strong is a great recruiter and has proven that with his time in the SEC at both South Carolina and Florida.

But whatever.... If Strong gets the job, enjoy the 6-6 season with the other 60 thousand fans in Neyland. I'm done buying season tix, and I'm dont donating. This whole thing is a joke.

Yeah because we deserve more than a guy who has two championship rings as a result of his dominating defenses and a guy that took over crap at Louisville and has them in s BCS bowl. Mediocrity, I say.

Good recruiters can recruit anywhere. When I saw Louisville this year, I saw Ryan Nassib rip Charlie's defense such a hole in his d that he lost to uconn the next week! It's not that he lost, its how bad he lost and to who.
