Good recruiters can recruit anywhere. When I saw Louisville this year, I saw Ryan Nassib rip Charlie's defense such a hole in his d that he lost to uconn the next week! It's not that he lost, its how bad he lost and to who.

How did Saban recruit at MSU? Meyer at Utah? I saw a coach that couldn't hack it at Louisiana Monroe go into Alabama and beat Saban, too.

Yeah, I'm sure that had NOTHING to do with who his head coach was. Having Meyer has HC could've made Sal look good. Furthermore, has anyone even looked at Louisville's total scores this year???? They gave up quite a few points to some awful teams. I don't get the Charlie Strong lovefest. He is not what UT needs.

It's Louisville for God sake. No one has recruited top talent there but he has done a good job in 3 years. It's not like he has 5* talent everywhere like Les Miles, who is an idiot. Even Petrino's teams gave up points at the Ville, a basketball school.

Answer the other question too, while you're at it. Why did Strong give up so many points in the worst BCS AQ conference in the nation? Even furthermore, where did all this "Strong will be a top notch recruiter" talk come from? It's garbage, my friend.

Meyer is still winning without Strong in a better conference. While Strong hasn't done so well without Meyer in a very weak conference. Just saying!

He has the 37th ranked scoring D at Louisville. Are you really trying to say Urban Meyer is who ran the D at Florida and was the reason for their success. If so, you are an idiot.

If you haven't seen the recruits responses to Strong's potential hiring here, then I would suggest you do so. Strong is a great recruiter and has proven that with his time in the SEC at both South Carolina and Florida.

He has yet to prove he is a GREAT recruiter. He will likely be a good recruiter, but great is a BIG question mark. He should be able to recruit better at UT than he did at UL. He is kinda a loose cannon, but we had one of those about three years ago and we are now glad he is not here. Fedora has better stats and a longer history of winning. I would take him over Strong, but will support strong if he is the one.

We need a damn AD with the balls to get things done. Dont take no for an answer and **** what the experts say! Are you with me? Well meet Charlie Strong. He has SEC exp, tho not as HC yet. He believes in defense and physical play. He has a chip on his shoulder because he thinks he got passed over on the auburn job for chizik due to his race...or his wife's. He has something to prove and he doesn't seem to care that this job could end his career. Although he wasnt anyones top choice, he may be just what we need to get back on track. A stubborn, hard nosed-guy who can put a damn defense on the field that wont give up 50 to troy at home.

If we're looking only at points and rankings, Jon Gruden went 22-26 his last 3 years at TB and his offenses were consistently in the bottom half of the league.

Mike Gundy's winning % is slightly better than Charlie Strong's at 65% to Strong's 62% and they have the same amount of BCS game appearances.

Guys clearly anybody that loses a game once a year anywhere is a loser and.can't win ever... We all know there are.at least 1,000 college football coaches that go 16-0 every year... The only reason Hart hasn't picked one of then up is because he's a bammer plant that can't stand to see us win... I saw him sabotage the Gruden deal with my own eyes... We're doomed fer sure...
