I think they got it right, but I was a little surprised that they overturned the call.

he did a good job of quickly cupping the ball...but in the replay you can see both hands resting on top of the ball while on the ground.

I hate it when it costs the gators a big play, but love it when it costs the vols a first and goal at the 1 :D

I don't like it regardless. It kills the flow of the game.

All the calls even out anyway.

I thought they were on both sides of the ball. Can't you have control of it and it still hit the ground?

Either way, I think that they got it right......but it was close and I don't think that there was enough evidence to overturn.

That's not why we lost the game anyway.....doesn't matter. We had our chances to score on that drive.

think it takes out all human error. its what makes college football great. without it we wouldnt have the gaffney catch and proably the cal standford play.

yeah I was basically trying to make it into a joke. everyone was blaming the coaches so i wanted to find something else to blame.

perhaps he would have caught the ball if the florida defender had not grabbed the receiver's jersey... too bad they couldn't flag an interference call while reviewing the replay.

i know it wasn't a horrible example of interference, but it was there.

Actually they overturned a good call in the FSU-Miami game... other than that, it worked out.

But what else have we got to complain about? :D Everyone says we're crybabies...

STUPID INSTANT REPLAY! :D Ahhhh... I miss the controversy... I don't really think the video was enough to overturn the catch, although it was the right call to overturn it. Wouldn't it have been fun if they HADN'T though?

Instant Replay did not cost us the game (the call was correct). Our coaches did not cost us the game (although I think it time that we decide who is the Quarterback). Florida did not beat us. We beat ourselves with wholely unforgivable bushleague-like Special Teams play. An 8 yd punt, an uncalled Fake Punt, a blocked Field Goal, a Fumbled Punt, and "0" yards in Punt Returns just to mention a few blunders. :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad:

I can't remember, in my 61 years, such horrible play by Tennessee Special Teams as we have seen in both games this year. We gave Florida the ball in excellent Field Position 3 times and they scored Field Goals on all three possessions. Guess what, 3 Field Goals equates to 9 points which is coincidentally the exact margin of the game. :banghead:

From my perspective, I thought our offensive line slacked off in the late 3rd and entire 4th quarter. The Vols are supposed and expected to win the 4th but our line had NO ability to stop the smaller Florida defensive players. Either this is lack of heart or conditioning. :bad: :bad:

This may be a VERY, VERY, VERY LONG SEASON.

Ok guys, If you missed it, It was a joke. People were ripping our coaches so I had to find another reason why we lost. I was trying to ease the tention. it was ALL a joke. You were suppose to read it sarcasticly.

Instant replay didnt lose us the game, our own dumb mistakes did it to us.
]The fumbled punt cost us the game. We had the momentum up to that point. It looked like the gators had lost confidence in their O and it kept our offense off the field when we felt like we could move the ball. Special Teams are killing us. Our kickoff and punt returns are nonexistent. We used to win games with S.T. play but not anymore.

Yep, poor play and poor coaching. The poor play was caused by offensive coaches not giving the players a chance to succeed.

Wah Wah Wah, can only blame the coaches so much. Coaches didn't cause us to drop a fumble and the coaches DID NOT CALL the fake punt...

Your agenda is so sad....just jump off the UT bandwagon like others and save us all the crying

Who made you pope of this dump? Our coaches suck and :thefinger: you. You express your opinion and I will mine. The people who keep supporting that show I watched last night are half of the problem.

No wonder you didn't post much during the pre-season and at the end of last year.

All the positives of UT kept you in your closet crying about Sanders knowing you wouldn't have any argument as long as UT was getting great national pub.

That answers that. Hide when UT succeeds and jumps out whenever we lose.

People like you are the reason why bandwagon fans exist :birgits_giggle:
